The Metro 2448NBL Super Erecta shelf is made of steel and reinforced with wire trusses and struts for strength, has a black epoxy coated finish for durability, and fits most Metro wire shelving units that are 48" wide and 24" deep. The shelf's open wire design permits air to circulate in the work environment, and resists dust build-up. The wire ribs on the shelf's surface run from front to back to facilitate sliding items on and off the shelf. Plastic split sleeves help secure the shelf to the shelving posts (sold separately). This wire shelf has an 800 lb. load capacity when evenly distributed across the shelf, and comes in a pack of four shelves.
